The Church calls each member of Christ's Body to participate in the ministry of consolation: to care for the dying and to comfort all who mourn. Our Lord is the example of comfort and support to the grieving. Our Catholic faith gives us the strength and courage to help us in our grieving and reminds us of the promise of the spiritual reunion with our loved ones. The Catholic Cemeteries Association is committed to ministering and assisting families before, during and after the death of a loved one.

By incorporating the traditions of our Catholic faith, our Bereavement/Aftercare program offers the support and resources necessary in handling your grief.

Monthly Sunday Support Groups: As places of faith, hope and remembrance, an important component of our Bereavement Ministry is our Sunday Support Groups. Our monthly support groups meet at the following cemeteries:

Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park - 3:00 p.m.
Holy Cross Cemetery, Akron - 3:00 p.m.
St. Joseph Cemetery, Avon -- 1:00 pm

You do not need to spend your Sunday afternoon alone - please come for an afternoon of prayer, support, and sharing.
